नवरात्री व्रत के लिए बनायें कुट्टू की आलू वाली पूरी | Kuttu Ki Puri | Kuttu Aloo Ki Puri
About Kuttu Aloo Ki PuriKuttu is Buckwheat flour and one of the grains/seeds whose flour is allowed to be eaten during fasting in festivals like Navratri. Other flours that are allowed for festival fasting are those of singhara, rajgira and sama rice.
In this recipe, we have used mashed potatoes in kuttu flour as we wanted to serve them with cucumber raita made for especially for fasting. You can use plain kuttu flour if you so wish and make vrat ke aloo to go along with them. Kuttu puri should be thicker than roti as the dough is quite soft and the puri will break if rolled thin. Also, do not prepare the dough in advance and keep it as it will become soft. Use it immediately. Check out my recipe video to see how I have prepared this kuttu aloo ki puri.
