About Palak Paratha
Paratha is an unleavened pan-fried Indian flatbread. It is a traditional North-Indian breakfast food.
Parathas can be prepared with whole wheat flour alone or in combination with a variety of seasonal green leafy vegetables like fenugreek leaves, chenopodium leaves, radish leaves, spinach leaves and more.
The paratha we are making today incorporates palak or spinach leaves and we will be pureeing the spinach first and them adding it in the wheat flour along with a few spices and then preparing the dough for the parathas.
