It is a nutrient rich and energy providing dessert and a lot of additions like adding walnuts, unsalted pistachios, khoya (evaporated milk), saffron - for flavor and taste. Instead of whole milk you can use condensed milk or if you wish to reduce the fat content you can go in for low fat milk. It tastes best with full fat milk however, not as rich as with condensed milk or not tasting as creamy and smooth if low fat milk is used.
