About Besan Paratha (Missi Roti)
Besan is gram flour or chick pea flour.
Besan paratha is made by combining besan and Atta (whole wheat flour), mixing them with a variety of spices, then preparing the dough, rolling out the parathas and roasting them.
Besan paratha is a very healthy choice for breakfast as it gives all the benefits of both whole wheat and chick peas.
It can be eaten with homemade butter, dahi/yogurt, fresh cream or pure ghee accompanied by a glass of lassi to make a filling breakfast.
