Makhana Raita - मखाने का रायता - Puffed Lotus Seeds Raita - Vrat Recipe
About Makhana Raitamakhana are puffed lotus seeds or fox nuts. These are called phool makhana or simply makhana.
In ayurveda makhana are used both as a food and medicine. It is good source of B vitamins & rich in several minerals. makhana raita id delicious & healthy. My recipe video above shows step by step process to prepare it. do check it out. Ingredients
How To Make Makhana Raita1. dry roast the makhana in a wok on low heat for 3-4 minutes or till they turn light brown & crisp
2. keep aside to cool 3. to the dahi add all the ingredients and the cooled roasted makhana. mix well 4. garnish with some red chilli powder & chopped cilantro. 5. refrigerate for 30 minutes to chill & allow the makhana to absorb some dahi then serve |
