About PoorisPoori is a fried thin Indian round flatbread that is usually eaten with chole, dry potato vegetable or in gravy and even with certain types of raitas like mint raita.
Pooris can be made plain stuffed with potatoes, masala or pureed vegetable, aamras, shrikhand, suji halwa etc. Pooris are made of whole wheat flour only and the dough used to make pooris is a bit stiffer or harder than the one used to make rotis or chapatis. Pooris are both a breakfast food and a lunch time food and are also made during certain festivals/occasions. These pooris are without salt. If you wish you can add salt in the flour and then make the dough. Ingredients
