Sabut/Whole moth dal is also called Matki or Mat Bean. It looks much like moong dal (mung bean) in shape but is smaller in size and brownish in color with a nutty taste.
They are easy to prepare with just a few spices. Moth dal is quite warming and provide a lot odf calories, are high in protein and supply good amounts of folate, iron, magnesium and phosphorus.
